Day 5 of 14

Immune Support with Ellagic Acid

Today’s recipe is a re-do from yesterday’s flavonoid challenge.

This Chocolate Berry Smoothie is not only chock-full of antioxidants, but it’s blackberries give you a punch of ellagic acid.

This recipe calls for 1 banana and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup as sweeteners. Again, you can cut down on free/added sugars by substituting a second banana for the maple syrup in this recipe.
